Police in Ajmer have solved a murder case involving four individuals, including a former sarpanch, his mother, and his son, whose bodies were found burned inside a Scorpio SUV. The victims were killed by the former sarpanch’s first wife, daughter, and minor son, who slit their throats with farming tools in an attempt to make the crime look like a vehicle accident. The incident took place in Shrirampura village.
The deceased have been identified as former sarpanch Ramsingh Chaudhary, his mother Pusi Devi, his second wife Surgyan Devi, and his niece Mahima. Ramsingh’s first wife, Sunita, has been arrested, while his 19-year-old daughter and 17-year-old son have been detained. The bodies were loaded into the Scorpio and set on fire to mislead investigators into thinking it was an accidental death.
According to the investigation, Ramsingh had allegedly subjected his first wife and children to physical and mental abuse. The son reportedly siphoned diesel from a tractor to burn the vehicle after the murder. Sunita, along with her daughter and son, attacked Ramsingh, slit his throat, and set the Scorpio on fire. The mother and daughter stayed home while the son returned after the incident.
The police were alerted to the incident when villagers discovered Surgyan Devi’s body near the burning vehicle. She was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead. Authorities extinguished the flames and launched an investigation that led to the arrests of the suspects involved in the murders.
