A political controversy has emerged in Bihar regarding the vacation of the government bungalow at 10 Circular Road in Patna. The Janata Dal (United) has raised concerns about the manner in which the residence was vacated. JDU MLC and party spokesperson Neeraj Kumar has written to the Building Construction Department, requesting a detailed inventory and assurance regarding the safety of all government property at the bungalow.
Referring to media reports, the JDU leader highlighted that the bungalow was reportedly vacated late at night and in the absence of Rabri Devi and her family. Questions have been raised over the removal of flowerpots and plants from the premises in a pickup truck, questioning accountability and authorization. Neeraj Kumar sought clarification on whether the plants and flowerpots belonged to the Horticulture Department or were privately owned.
Kumar emphasized the importance of returning government assets in a safe and intact condition. He stressed that it was the responsibility of the occupants to return all department-provided items to the Building Construction Department. The issue has intensified the political discourse surrounding the vacating of the 10 Circular Road bungalow, fueling the ongoing debate between the ruling alliance and the opposition in Bihar.
