Politics in Bihar has heated up following the Bharat Tiwari encounter case in Bhojpur, with the opposition criticizing the state government. Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has questioned the government’s actions and called for Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary to apologize to Tiwari’s family. He accused the government of failing to control crime and allowing criminals to operate freely.
Tejashwi alleged that innocent people are being targeted while criminals roam without fear. He criticized the police for focusing on enforcing prohibition laws instead of maintaining law and order. The opposition leader emphasized the need for an unbiased investigation into the encounter, expressing doubts about the police’s version of events.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader raised concerns about the authenticity of the encounter, citing viral videos and family allegations. Tejashwi urged Chief Minister Choudhary to address the family’s grievances and questioned the police’s decision to file an FIR against Tiwari’s family members. A judicial inquiry has been initiated by the Bihar government to examine the incident and ensure proper procedures were followed during the police operation.
Tejashwi also highlighted the suspicious death of Prince Yadav, brother of educator Roshan Anand, calling for a CBI investigation. He stressed the importance of an independent probe to uncover the truth and hold those responsible accountable. The Bharat Tiwari encounter has become a significant political issue in Bihar, with both opposition and ruling alliance parties expressing concerns and demanding a thorough investigation.
