The daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and half-sister to actress Alia Bhatt, Pooja began her acting journey with a leading role in the television film “Daddy” in 1989. She gained prominence with the romantic comedy “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin” in 1991, which emerged as her highest-grossing film. Over the years, she garnered critical acclaim for her roles in various films before taking a break from the industry.
Recently, Pooja appeared in the film “Chup: Revenge of the Artist,” directed by R. Balki, alongside actors like Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan. The movie, set in Mumbai, revolves around a serial killer targeting corrupt film critics, with Pooja playing a police officer tasked with capturing the culprit.
