Acclaimed writer, lyricist, and screenwriter Prasoon Joshi will be honored with the inaugural ‘NBT Bhushan Samman’ at the Navbharat Times (NBT) Utsav 2026 on July 4. The award, instituted by NBT Delhi, recognizes outstanding contributions in literature, culture, creativity, and mass communication. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will present Joshi with the honor during the event in the national capital.
Prasoon Joshi, known for his impactful work in cinema through movies like Rang De Basanti, Taare Zameen Par, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, has touched audiences with his expressions of hope, patriotism, and social change.
