The last rites of Prateek Yadav, son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, will take place at Bhaisakund in Lucknow on Thursday at around 11:00 a.m. His mortal remains were placed at his residence on Vikramaditya Marg in Lucknow for people to pay their respects. Prateek Yadav, aged 38 and the half-brother of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, passed away in Lucknow on Wednesday morning after battling a prolonged illness.

His wife, Aparna Yadav, announced the details of his last rites on Wednesday night. She shared that Prateek Yadav’s funeral will be held at Baikunth Dham (Bhainsakund) the next morning at 11:00 AM. The cause of his death, as per the post-mortem report, was a sudden cardiac arrest resulting from a massive pulmonary thromboembolism.

According to the post-mortem findings, Prateek Yadav had multiple injury marks on his body. The report revealed that these injuries were ante-mortem, occurring before his death. The injuries varied in age, with some being several days old and others just a day old.
