President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Jaipur on Friday for a daylong trip to Rajasthan. She will take part in the ‘1008 Kundiya Hanuman Mahayagya’ at the Neendar Housing Scheme, Harmada (Sikar Road). The President’s arrival will lead to traffic diversions on various major roads in the city.
In the official schedule, President Murmu will land at Jaipur International Airport at 1:40 p.m. She will then proceed by road to Lok Bhavan, Civil Lines, for a scheduled program at 2:10 p.m. Later in the day, at 3:50 p.m., she will head to the Neendar Housing Scheme, Harmada, to participate in the concluding ceremony of the Shri Ram Katha and the 1008 Kundiya Hanuman Mahayagya.
The religious event, which began on January 8, is being overseen by Tulsipithadhishwar Jagadguru Rambhadracharya. A significant turnout of dignitaries and devotees is anticipated at the ‘Mahayagya’. Security and logistical arrangements have been finalized by the district administration, police, and organizers to ensure a smooth event.
For security purposes, traffic disruptions will occur along the President’s route during her movements. Traffic diversions and parking restrictions will be in place on New Sanganer Road, Expressway, and Sikar Road. Heavy vehicles will be rerouted via alternative routes to avoid congestion.
President Murmu is scheduled to depart from Jaipur International Airport at 5:50 p.m. for Palam Airport, Delhi. Authorities are maintaining a high level of alertness, and citizens are advised to adhere to traffic advisories for the successful execution of the visit.
