Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the AI Impact Summit recently held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, highlighting India’s significant capabilities in artificial intelligence. The summit, which took place from February 16-20, focused on human-centric AI, global cooperation, and ethical frameworks like the New Delhi Declaration. During his monthly radio address, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi emphasized the summit’s role in showcasing the country’s achievements to a global audience.
The Prime Minister described the AI Impact Summit as a pivotal event shaping the future use of AI worldwide. He noted the presence of world leaders and tech innovators at the summit, where various innovations were showcased. Notably, two products garnered international attention – one aiding dairy workers through AI technology and another preserving ancient knowledge and traditions for future generations.
At the summit, PM Modi highlighted the use of technology to enhance ancient manuscripts like the ‘Sushruta Samhita’, making them more accessible and understandable. He emphasized the importance of translating this knowledge into different languages using AI, attracting significant interest from global leaders. Additionally, India launched three ‘Made in India’ AI models during the summit, marking it as a significant milestone in the field of artificial intelligence.
The Prime Minister concluded by stating that the AI Impact Summit demonstrated India’s remarkable capabilities in AI, with the participation and enthusiasm of youth making it a resounding success. He commended all countries involved for their contributions to the summit’s achievements.
