Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the ‘Surya Tilak’ ceremony of Ram Lalla on Ram Navami, offering prayers for the nation’s well-being. Ram Navami celebrates the birth of Lord Ram, the seventh avatar of Vishnu, promoting values like truth and compassion.

In his message, PM Modi extended greetings to citizens and emphasized drawing inspiration from Lord Ram’s life of sacrifice and restraint. He expressed hope that Lord Ram’s blessings would lead India towards progress as a self-reliant nation. The Surya Tilak ceremony, symbolizing spiritual significance, attracts devotees at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The event, which includes directing sunlight onto the idol’s forehead, gained attention during the grand celebrations in 2024 at the newly inaugurated temple. Prime Minister Modi encouraged devotees worldwide to witness the ceremony, highlighting Lord Ram’s significance as a symbol of righteousness and moral values. Lord Ram’s ideals continue to influence India’s cultural and spiritual ethos, particularly during festivals like Ram Navami.
