Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly welcomed in Jamnagar as he arrived on Sunday evening. Residents lined the streets and gathered at Lal Bungalow to greet him. A public meeting, attended by people from various communities and states, was held where senior BJP leaders like Rivaba Jadeja and Arjun Modhwadia were also present.

The atmosphere was festive with large crowds, including many Bengali families from Jamnagar, eagerly awaiting the Prime Minister’s arrival. Flags were waved, patriotic slogans were chanted, and cheers filled the air as Modi’s convoy approached the venue. Traditional attire, cultural performances, and chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” added to the celebratory mood around Lal Bungalow Circle.

Residents, particularly those originally from West Bengal, expressed their joy at welcoming PM Modi, especially after the BJP’s success in Bengal. Sanjeev Chatterjee, an advocate from Jamnagar, highlighted the progress witnessed in Gujarat over the years and hoped for similar development in West Bengal. The sentiment of hope and enthusiasm for growth was echoed by Dolly Mukherjee and Sushil Rai, emphasizing the desire for progress and prosperity in their home state.

Aaveri Haldar, a long-time resident of Gujarat, shared her excitement at seeing PM Modi up close for the first time. She expressed pride in BJP’s victory in Bengal and hoped for the state’s advancement akin to Gujarat.
