On National Youth Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the final session of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event will feature direct engagement between the Prime Minister and approximately 3,000 young participants, including international youth representatives.
The dialogue has brought together young leaders from various parts of the country who have actively participated in discussions over the past few days. Selected participants will present their final proposals on ten key themes to the Prime Minister during the concluding session. These themes cover areas such as youth education, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, social development, and governance, reflecting the aspirations of India’s next generation.
Ahead of the event, Prime Minister Modi expressed his enthusiasm for engaging with the youth. He highlighted the dedication and passion of India’s young population in a social media post, emphasizing their commitment to nation-building. The Prime Minister looks forward to interacting with young leaders from diverse backgrounds during the dialogue.
PM Modi underscored the crucial role of India’s youth in driving the nation’s progress, citing their energy, innovation, and dedication. He emphasized that the dialogue serves as a significant platform for young leaders to exchange ideas, share their aspirations, and actively contribute to the vision of a developed India.
Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya also welcomed the thousands of young participants arriving in Delhi for the dialogue. He praised the vibrant youth power, inspired by India’s cultural heritage, for their readiness to present their vision for a developed India to the Prime Minister.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, held from January 9 to 12, has introduced new initiatives such as ‘Design for Bharat’ and ‘Tech for Viksit Bharat’ to expand discussions to technology-driven solutions and innovation. The participation of Indian youth diaspora has provided a valuable global perspective to the event.
Concluding on National Youth Day, the dialogue aims to inspire young Indians to take on leadership roles, address national challenges, and contribute significantly to the nation-building process.
