The 110-year-old Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station, redeveloped at a cost of Rs 125 crore, now features a double-height air concourse, steel platform roofing, slip-resistant flooring, LED lighting, and improved connectivity. Notable additions include new Foot Over Bridges, a trough roof covering platform length, an air concourse, a second entry with a station building, and a spacious parking area.
In Delhi, the Modi Nagar railway station has been upgraded under the Northern Railway zone at a cost of Rs 25.75 crore. The station enhancements encompass a Foot Over Bridge, improved waiting areas, toilet facilities, and platform shelters. These developments aim to enhance accessibility, especially for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, through features like entry ramps, tactile pathways, and dedicated amenities.

Stations like Shamli, Kunnur, Balaghat Junction, Kalka, and Majbat have successfully integrated local culture with modern amenities, improving passenger convenience and contributing to India’s development vision.
