World Water Day, an initiative by the United Nations, aims to address the global water crisis and advance Sustainable Development Goal 6 for universal water and sanitation access. This year’s theme, ‘Water and Gender: Where water flows, equality grows,’ highlights the leadership of women in water management and the need for gender equality in water-related responsibilities.
