Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honored with the ‘Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia’, also known as the “Medal of Honour”, marking his 35th international award. The Bintang Adipurna is Indonesia’s highest civilian honor, recognizing individuals who have significantly contributed to the country’s unity, continuity, and prosperity. This accolade adds to the diverse range of global recognitions bestowed upon PM Modi from various continents since 2016.
With this latest addition, Prime Minister Modi’s international honors now total 35, making him the most decorated Indian Prime Minister in terms of global awards. Among these accolades are prestigious honors like Bhutan’s ‘Order of the Druk Gyalpo’ and Nigeria’s ‘Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger’. PM Modi’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation has been acknowledged through awards such as Seychelles’ ‘Guardian of the Blue Horizon’.
The ‘Legion of Merit’ from the United States, Russia’s ‘Order of St Andrew the Apostle’, and Israel’s ‘Medal of the Knesset’ are among the notable recognitions conferred upon Prime Minister Modi. These awards highlight his leadership in strengthening strategic partnerships and fostering international relations. PM Modi’s dedication to promoting environmentally responsible growth and addressing global challenges like climate change has been recognized by nations worldwide.
