A private travel bus overturned in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district, resulting in around 30 passengers getting injured. The incident took place on National Highway 44 near Vennedoddi in Gooty mandal. The bus, en route from Hyderabad to Anantapur, flipped multiple times after the driver lost control while avoiding an oncoming lorry.

Police responded promptly to the accident site and initiated a relief operation. The injured individuals were promptly taken to Anantapur district hospital, with reports indicating that 10 of them are in critical condition. A case has been registered by the police, who have commenced an investigation into the incident.

In a separate event at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) in Hyderabad, a bus from the Gadwal depot of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation suddenly caught fire. Passengers onboard were quick to evacuate the bus after being alerted by individuals at the station. The bus conductor, aided by others, managed to extinguish the fire using water, while TGSRTC officials are probing the cause of the fire.

Another accident in Telangana’s Nizamabad district involved multiple vehicles, leaving two individuals severely injured. The collision occurred on National Highway 44 near Chandrayanpalli in Indalwai mandal of Nizamabad district. A truck collided with seven stationary cars, causing significant damage.
