Sanju Samson, a member of the Indian national cricket team, has been part of the victorious T20 World Cup squads in 2024 and 2026, earning the Player of the Tournament title in 2026. He represents the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and plays for the Kerala cricket team.
Priyadarshan, a renowned filmmaker in Hindi and Malayalam cinema since 1982, boasts a filmography of over 90 movies, including hits like Chitram, Kilukkam, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, Bhagam Bhag, and Hera Pheri. Transitioning from Malayalam to Hindi cinema, Priyadarshan found success with films like Hera Pheri, Hungama, Hulchul, Garam Masala, Chup Chup Ke, Dhol, Khatta Meetha, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
His latest Hindi release, “Bhooth Bangla,” starring Akshay Kumar, is a horror-comedy that revolves around a haunted palace inherited by Akshay’s character, leading to a series of chilling events. The film, which follows a curse involving a demon spirit that targets brides, marks Priyadarshan’s second venture into Hindi horror-comedy after the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa in 2007.
