Priyadarshan clarified that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ is more of a psychological thriller than a horror film.

He emphasized that while humor can alleviate tension, crafting comedy requires significant effort. Despite finding it challenging, he acknowledged the audience’s repeated enjoyment of comedic sequences in theaters.
