Priyadarshini Raje Scindia, the wife of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, recently attended a health camp in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district. She oversaw the registration process and ensured timely medical attention for all patients. Interacting with medical staff and patients, she emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare services.
Shivpuri, a significant area for the Scindia family, falls under the Guna Lok Sabha constituency represented by Jyotiraditya Scindia. Priyadarshini Raje Scindia recognized and honored the doctors’ efforts at the camp, highlighting the essential role of such initiatives in promoting community health and empathy. She also monitored the camp’s facilities, including food quality, to guarantee a high standard of service.
In addition to distributing food to patients, Priyadarshini Raje Scindia emphasized the need for cleanliness and hygiene within the camp. She inaugurated an HPV vaccination facility in Gwalior district hospital, encouraging young girls to participate in the vaccination drive. Madhya Pradesh leads in administering HPV vaccines to prevent cervical cancer, with over one lakh 14-year-old girls vaccinated as part of a nationwide campaign.
