Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared her daughter Malti Marie Jonas’ fondness for India and its culture during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show season 4. Malti, who accompanies Priyanka on trips to various Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Ayodhya, has developed a deep affection for the concept of an ‘Indian Princess.’ Priyanka expressed her efforts to educate Malti about Indian traditions and values, noting how Malti adorns herself as an Indian princess when wearing traditional attire like Ghagra Choli, bindis, bangles, and accessories. Comedian Navjyot Singh Sidhu humorously remarked that a queen’s daughter naturally sees herself as a princess. Priyanka also recounted a romantic gesture by her husband, Nick Jonas, who flew her above the clouds in his plane to view the moon and break their fast on Karva Chauth. Additionally, she mentioned receiving sargi from her other in-law every year on Karwa Chauth. Priyanka had flown to India specifically to film the inaugural episode of Kapil Sharma’s talk show, commencing its fourth season. She had previously been in Hyderabad shooting for her upcoming movie “Varanasi” alongside South star Mahesh Babu, directed by SS Rajamouli.
