Producer Vipul Shah expressed his satisfaction after the Kerala High Court cleared his film ‘The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond’ for release. Shah, addressing the media, welcomed the court’s decision and disclosed that the film underwent scrutiny by an eight-member expert panel. He emphasized that the High Court found no faults in the Central Board of Film Certification’s operations.

Shah, during a recent press conference in Mumbai, elaborated on the court’s proceedings. He emphasized that further debate was unnecessary post the court’s ruling. Notably, the film’s censor screening involved an atypical eight-member committee, including two Kerala-based social workers, to prevent any misrepresentation of the state.

Responding to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s comments on his film, Shah expressed eagerness for a response from Kashyap following a social media user’s counter. Shah refrained from making personal remarks about Kashyap, highlighting that opinions differ. He anticipated a forthcoming response from Kashyap, particularly in light of past controversies surrounding Kashyap’s film ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’.
