A production house has announced a massive investment of Rs 100 crore in the making of director Jeethu Joseph’s upcoming Malayalam film ‘Drishyam 3’, starring the renowned actor Mohanlal. Pen Studios revealed their plan to invest in Aashirvad Cinemas, the production house behind ‘Drishyam 3’, through a social media announcement. The film, originally set for an April release, will now hit the screens on May 21 due to unforeseen circumstances.
Pen Studios expressed their support for ‘Drishyam 3’ with a motion poster unveiling their substantial investment in the project. Mohanlal, who plays the lead role, had wrapped up his filming last year before the film’s postponement. The movie, a sequel in a successful franchise, promises to delve into the next phase of Georgekutty’s life, portrayed by Mohanlal.
