Project Brahmank of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) observed its 16th Raising Day in Ranaghat, Arunachal Pradesh, commemorating 15 years of enhancing strategic infrastructure and connectivity in the region. The Project, responsible for the strategic road infrastructure in several districts of Arunachal Pradesh and parts of Assam, oversees the maintenance and development of 811 km of roads and around 86 bridges, including major engineering feats like steel arch and PSC bridges.
During the fiscal year 2025–26, Project Brahmank achieved notable milestones by inaugurating 13 bridges with a total span of 390 meters across valleys and blacktopping 61 km of roads to NHDL specifications. Additionally, the Project established helipads to boost connectivity and fortify strategic infrastructure in the area. The 16th Raising Day celebrations included various social welfare activities, troop interactions, and functions to foster camaraderie among personnel at Headquarters and Task Force locations.
Established on June 29, 2011, in Ranaghat, East Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh, Project Brahmank became fully operational on December 3, 2011.
