Sadhvi Prem Baisa, a well-known spiritual leader and storyteller, passed away under suspicious circumstances at an ashram in Pal village, Rajasthan. Her death, which occurred shortly after receiving an injection, is being investigated by authorities. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising nine members, led by ACP Chhavi Sharma, has been formed to look into the matter.
According to ACP Chhavi Sharma, Sadhvi Prem Baisa had been unwell and called a compounder to her residence on January 28. After receiving an injection from the compounder, her health deteriorated rapidly, leading to her demise. Subsequently, her body underwent a post-mortem examination at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, and the post-mortem report is pending.
The investigation into Sadhvi Prem Baisa’s death involves analyzing technical evidence such as mobile call records, CCTV footage from the ashram, and other digital data to reconstruct the events leading up to her passing. The compounder, Devi Singh, has been detained for questioning regarding the injection administered to Sadhvi Prem Baisa, as authorities seek to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
The case has garnered significant public interest, especially after a post appeared on Sadhvi Prem Baisa’s social media account following her demise, hinting at seeking justice posthumously. Speculation has arisen regarding the cause of her death, with concerns ranging from suicide to medical negligence or potential foul play.
