Pune Rural Police reconstructed the crime scene at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra related to the Ketan Agarwal murder case. They used a fibre dummy matching the victim’s characteristics to understand the sequence of events by throwing it into a gorge over 300 feet deep. Exclusive visuals of this reconstruction have been obtained.
In a separate development, the police conducted a ‘gait analysis’ of the second accused, Chetan Chaudhary. Chaudhary, along with Siya Goyal, is accused of murdering 26-year-old businessman Ketan Agarwal at the fort on June 18. The investigation aimed to establish Chaudhary’s movements on the day of the incident.
Furthermore, the police recovered the trousers worn by Chetan Chaudhary on the day of the crime. A court in Maharashtra granted the police an additional five days of custody for both accused individuals. The extension was sought to complete crucial aspects of the investigation, including recreating the crime scene, tracing Chaudhary’s post-incident movements, analyzing phone conversations after the murder, and recovering evidence related to the destruction of Agarwal’s passport.
An interesting detail emerged where Siya allegedly tore and burned Ketan’s passport to prevent their planned trip to Bali. The police suspect this act was intended to hinder their travel together. Additionally, an old video showing Ketan Agarwal dancing with his and Siya’s parents at a family function has surfaced. The video, dated May 7, just over a month before Agarwal’s death, captures a joyous moment with the family.
