Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon responded to AAP leaders’ criticism of investigating agencies, emphasizing that Punjab’s traders are well-informed and not swayed by political tactics. He questioned why several AAP members are facing corruption charges and criticized the party for deflecting attention by intertwining legal matters with politics and religion.
Dhillon called out Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, questioning the government’s discomfort with anti-corruption actions. He stressed that central agencies are simply fulfilling their legal duties and that those innocent have nothing to fear. Dhillon highlighted the importance of upholding law and order, especially for the honest traders, businessmen, and industrialists of Punjab.
The BJP leader urged Chief Minister Mann to prioritize combating criminal activities like gangsterism and extortion that threaten Punjab’s business community. Dhillon emphasized the need to protect traders from criminal elements rather than exploiting them for political advantage. He reiterated the BJP’s commitment to Punjab’s progress, industrial development, and the well-being of every trader and entrepreneur in the state.
