Punjab BJP President, Sunil Jakhar, criticized AAP and Congress for collaborating to shift attention away from Punjab’s real problems. Jakhar warned that spreading misinformation and inciting hatred against the Centre in Punjab could be detrimental to the state’s future. He highlighted discrepancies in disaster relief fund utilization, with only a fraction of the allocated amount being spent.
Jakhar pointed out that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann acknowledged mismanagement of funds but questioned the delay in addressing the issue. He accused Congress leaders of supporting AAP in Parliament instead of holding them accountable. Both parties were accused of jointly targeting the Centre and BJP with false narratives.
The BJP President presented data to counter allegations against the Central government, citing significant increases in agriculture and fertilizer subsidies under the BJP regime. He questioned the delay in implementing Punjab’s agriculture policy and urged action on the pending farmers’ policy draft.
