Paramjit Singh Kainth, President of BJP’s Scheduled Caste Morcha, raised alarm over the repeated desecration of Ambedkar’s statues, questioning the government’s ability to safeguard national icons and preserve social cohesion. The recent incident in Noorpur Jattan village underscored the deteriorating law and order situation under the Aam Aadmi Party administration in Punjab. Kainth emphasized the urgent need for restoring respect for revered figures and ensuring public safety.
