Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar attributed the party’s wins in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He expressed confidence in replicating this success in Punjab’s 2027 Assembly polls. Jakhar commended BJP workers in West Bengal for their dedication and resilience against alleged oppression.
With preparations underway for Punjab’s upcoming elections, Jakhar highlighted the energizing impact of the West Bengal results on party workers. He emphasized the need for determination and hard work, citing Prime Minister Modi’s support for Punjab. Jakhar also criticized the AAP government in Punjab, predicting their exit and alleging failures on various fronts.
The BJP leader took a dig at Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over recent controversies, accusing him of allowing corruption among AAP MLAs. Jakhar asserted that the Congress has been marginalized not only in Punjab but nationwide. Despite anticipating challenges ahead, he reassured that the BJP would safeguard Punjab’s interests and its people.
