Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar expressed sadness over the suicide of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, a District Manager in Amritsar, and criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for lacking moral authority to lead. Jakhar vowed to seek justice for the victim’s family through all available means.

Jakhar highlighted the distressing shift from public suffering under gangster rule to now even government officials resorting to suicide due to alleged pressures from Ministers. He demanded the immediate resignation and arrest of Punjab Transport and Jails Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, whose name was linked to the suicide case.

The BJP leader likened the incident to a blatant murder of a government official and urged for swift legal action against Minister Bhullar. Jakhar also questioned the Chief Minister’s decision to assign the investigation to the State Chief Secretary, emphasizing the need for an impartial inquiry.
