Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon spearheaded a protest outside the Punjab Congress headquarters, condemning the Congress for exploiting the NEET issue for political gains. The demonstration, joined by numerous BJP workers, was halted by Chandigarh Police using heavy barricades.
Dhillon, accompanied by senior BJP leaders and party members, was briefly detained by the police before being released. He criticized the Congress for prioritizing agitation over accountability following electoral setbacks, accusing the party of manipulating students for its political agenda.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swift action on the NEET matter, Dhillon emphasized the arrests made and the government’s commitment to ensuring justice for the youth. He also criticized Rahul Gandhi for allegedly using student issues for political theatrics rather than genuine support.
Accusing the Congress and AAP of collusion, Dhillon questioned their silence on a pharmacy examination cheating scandal in Faridkot while focusing on the NEET controversy. He underscored the BJP’s determination to expose what he called the Congress’s hypocrisy and anti-student politics nationwide.
