Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann assured the public in Mukerian town that his government remains committed to fulfilling all pledges made to the people. He emphasized that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration has strived to empower citizens and deliver on its assurances. Mann expressed determination to hold accountable those involved in the desecration of Guru Granth, affirming they will face legal consequences.
The Chief Minister criticized the Congress for prioritizing power struggles over public welfare, highlighting their intention to halt government welfare programs if elected. Mann urged the populace to grant AAP a significant mandate to prevent self-serving leaders from seizing power. He cautioned against trusting the Congress, warning that they would discontinue beneficial schemes initiated by the AAP government.
In a dig at the Akali Dal, Mann denounced their false promises and reliance on staged rallies to garner support. He criticized the Akali leaders, particularly Sukhbir Badal, for their diminishing popularity and opportunistic behavior. Mann underscored the need for the people of Punjab to reject deceptive leaders and emphasized the importance of continued progress under the AAP government.
