Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann unveiled a new flyover at the junction of Sultanwind Bypass and Sultanwind Link Road in Amritsar. This project was completed with a cost-saving of Rs 11.52 crore, showcasing transparent financial management.
Mann’s government is focusing on development initiatives, with plans to open 3,100 new stadiums, 3,000 gyms, and 400 Aam Aadmi Clinics by July 15. Additionally, more than 80% of canal water is now utilized for irrigation purposes. Contractors are now responsible for maintaining over 43,000 km of roads for a period of five years.
The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to progress and integrity, contrasting it with the opposition’s dissemination of fake videos due to their inability to challenge the government’s achievements. Mann highlighted the importance of the flyover in easing traffic congestion at the junction, benefiting commuters, local residents, and pilgrims.
The newly constructed flyover spans 725 meters in length and 14 meters in width, with service roads on both sides to facilitate local traffic flow.
