CM Mann has assured full support to distressed Punjabi families in the Middle East, emphasizing continuous communication with the Government of India for the safe repatriation of those stuck in conflict zones. Due to the turmoil in Arab nations, many Punjabis are encountering severe challenges, prompting the establishment of a dedicated helpline by the Punjab government.
He has urged the Indian government to facilitate the secure evacuation of stranded Punjabis, expressing hope for prompt assistance to those in the war-affected Gulf region. Lok Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan previously called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure the safe return of Indians stranded in Dubai Airport and other Arab countries. Sandhwan stressed the importance of immediate action during international crises to uphold the welfare and dignity of all Indians abroad.
