Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann might not attend the “anti-drug” mega rally in Moga as he is currently receiving medical treatment at a private hospital in Mohali due to exhaustion. The rally, part of the government’s ‘Yuddh Nasheyan Viruddh’ campaign, will feature AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and other Cabinet colleagues.
Fortis Hospital in Mohali released a statement confirming that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann underwent medical evaluation after experiencing exhaustion. He was admitted for observation and supportive care, with stable vital parameters and normal limits.
Following a rise in his blood pressure, the Chief Minister was swiftly taken to Fortis Hospital from Dhuri town. Arvind Kejriwal and CM Mann recently visited the Rankeshwar Mahadev Temple and performed rituals at the historic Siddh Peeth in Dhuri.
During a festival, AAP chief Kejriwal highlighted the significance of Mahashivratri as a cultural celebration deeply rooted in India’s spiritual traditions. Chief Minister Mann reiterated the government’s dedication to preserving Punjab’s spiritual and cultural heritage for future generations.
Mann’s discharge from Fortis Hospital in September 2025, after a previous hospitalization due to exhaustion and low heart rate, led to the cancellation of his visit to flood-affected areas. In September 2024, he was hospitalized due to increased pressure in his pulmonary artery affecting his heart and blood pressure irregularities.
