Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring dismissed any claims of factionalism within the state party unit. He defended senior leader Charanjit Singh Channi’s meeting with party members, highlighting Channi’s past roles within the party.

Warring emphasized that all senior leaders at the meeting expressed support for the party, countering suggestions of internal divisions. He also reiterated that he is not vying for the Chief Ministerial position, leaving such decisions to the party high command.

Asserting his commitment to bringing the Congress back to power in Punjab, Warring stated that his focus remains on fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to him by the party leadership. He emphasized loyalty to the party above personal ambitions and dismissed rumors of factionalism within the party.
