The minister stressed the importance of respecting the dignity of labor and condemned the use of derogatory language towards working-class individuals. Cheema called for decisive action from the Speaker, suggesting that Khaira’s legislative membership should be revoked if he does not issue a public apology for his unparliamentary language.
