Punjab Minister Aman Arora criticized the BJP-led Central government for its failures on both foreign and domestic fronts. He highlighted the discrepancy between government claims and the actual situation, pointing out issues like long queues at gas agencies and economic challenges faced by citizens. Arora emphasized that the government’s promises of making India a global leader and self-reliant have not been fulfilled.
Participating in a resolution in the Vidhan Sabha, Arora drew attention to the stark contrast between the government’s advertisements and the ground realities faced by the people. He mentioned Prime Minister Modi’s past promises of leading the world and achieving self-sufficiency, noting the current failures in these areas.
Arora criticized the government’s foreign policy, stating that neighboring countries have moved closer to China during the BJP-led government’s tenure. He also questioned the Prime Minister’s visit to Israel and highlighted the lack of condemnation for tragic events in other countries.
Presenting statistical data, Arora pointed out a decline in natural gas and crude oil production coupled with a rise in consumption. He expressed concern over India’s increasing dependence on LPG imports, contrary to the government’s self-reliance narrative.
Assuring the people of Punjab of the state government’s commitment to protecting their interests, Arora pledged to address challenges despite the Central government’s control over key sectors.
