Rahul Dravid, former head coach of Team India and a revered figure in cricket, marked his 53rd birthday on Sunday. Tributes poured in from various cricket circles, including former players, franchises, and the BCCI, all extending their best wishes to the legendary cricketer.
Dravid, known for his exceptional career, represented India in 164 Tests, 344 ODIs, and one T20 International. With over 24,000 international runs since his debut in 1996, he retired from all formats in 2013. Serving as India’s head coach from November 21 to June 2024, Dravid led the team to victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 and the final of the ODI World Cup 2023.
