Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, reiterated his demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation due to the NEET-UG 2026 exam paper leak. Gandhi highlighted the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 exam and criticized the government for not taking accountability despite investigations.

Gandhi pointed out the similarities between the NEET-UG 2026 cancellation and the 2024 incident, questioning why the Education Minister has not resigned despite the paper leaks. He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his silence on the issue and demanded answers regarding the repeated exam paper leaks.

In a video statement, Gandhi alleged that the NEET question paper had been circulated two days before the exam, implicating the Education Minister. He accused the government of damaging the education system for personal gains and criticized the appointment process of Vice-Chancellors in universities.

The re-examination of NEET-UG 2026 is set for June 21, following the paper leak controversy.
