In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on youth welfare, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, criticized the government for neglecting the education system. Gandhi accused the Centre of allowing the deterioration of education standards and shielding those responsible for it. He highlighted the demands of students protesting against exam paper leaks, calling for action against the Education Minister and justice for the affected students.

PM Modi, on the other hand, announced the establishment of fast-track courts to address paper leaks swiftly. He emphasized the government’s commitment to safeguarding students’ interests and warned of strict consequences for those jeopardizing the youth’s future. Gandhi, in a press conference, alleged that the education system had been compromised under the current administration, supporting the students’ peaceful protests while condemning the use of force by authorities.

Further intensifying his criticism, Gandhi labeled Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as corrupt and incompetent, demanding his resignation. He, along with other opposition leaders, staged a demonstration near the Prime Minister’s residence to protest police actions against anti-NEET leak demonstrators. The incident resulted in their brief detention by the authorities.
