Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, criticized the Union Education Ministry and CBSE for Class 12 evaluation problems. He shared a video featuring Vedant and other students who had difficulties obtaining their answer booklets. Gandhi expressed solidarity with the students who faced insults instead of answers when questioning the system.
Vedant, a student, received the wrong Physics answer sheet initially but later got the correct one after raising the issue. He had applied for a copy of his answer sheet due to unexpectedly low marks. The incident gained attention on social media, with many supporting Vedant and demanding fair evaluation processes.
CBSE acknowledged the errors and assured prompt resolution. Following complaints of lower marks and technical glitches, the board took corrective measures with the help of experts from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur. The online portal for post-result activities will be functional on June 1, allowing students to request verification and re-evaluation of their answer sheets.
