Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to arrive in Raipur on Sunday via a regular commercial flight. Upon landing, he will head directly to the training camp venue at Abhanpur, where he will engage with party leaders and participate in the ongoing organizational training program.
The Chhattisgarh Congress training camp, which began on Saturday at Abhanpur, is a multi-day event organized by the Training Department of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). It is aimed at fortifying the party’s grassroots structure in preparation for upcoming political challenges.
At the camp, district presidents are undergoing extensive training in organizational activities and grassroots operations. The program includes practical elements like field visits, volunteer work, and staying overnight in villages to gain firsthand knowledge of local issues.
Participants are also receiving expert guidance on current affairs and political strategies to enhance their effectiveness at the booth level. The camp is considered crucial for strengthening the Congress organization from the grassroots level upwards, focusing on building a strong cadre capable of mobilizing effectively and connecting better with the public.
Senior Congress leaders, including Sachin Pilot, S.K. Sampat, Zarita Laitphalang, and Vijay Jangir, have already arrived in Raipur to supervise the training program. AICC coach Sachin Rao and his team are conducting specialized training sessions for the district presidents.
All district presidents of Chhattisgarh have gathered at the Abhanpur training venue, showcasing a significant organizational effort by the state unit. The camp aims to equip party leaders with the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation to strengthen the Congress party at all levels of the political hierarchy.
Rahul Gandhi’s visit is expected to invigorate the Chhattisgarh Congress ahead of future electoral battles. The leadership anticipates that the rigorous training and strategic guidance provided during the camp will lead to improved organizational performance and electoral outcomes in the state.
