Actor and entrepreneur Raj Kundra has shared his enthusiasm for producing more films focused on Punjab. He emphasized the abundance of untold stories from the region that deserve cinematic exploration. Kundra highlighted his focus on meaningful projects over mere roles, particularly those with age-centric and situational significance.

For his upcoming movie, “The Great Punjab Robbery,” Kundra aims to convey a message of revitalizing Punjab’s greatness. Initially planned as his debut film with Saurabh Varma before “Mehar,” the project faced financial constraints. However, the compelling narrative resonated with Kundra, attracting multiple producers after his success with “Mehar.”

Hinting at a future home production, Kundra remained tight-lipped about details but confirmed it as a pan-India venture following “The Great Punjab Robbery.” Having debuted in Punjabi cinema with “Mehar,” where he portrayed Karamjeet Singh, Kundra is now preparing for the global release of his next film, scheduled for August 7, directed and written by Saurabh Varma.
