Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore criticized the Congress party for questioning the BJP government’s handling of examination scams, citing a paper leak case involving a former RPSC Chairman linked to the Congress. Rathore, speaking at a training camp in Alwar, accused the Congress of being deeply involved in corruption and lacking the moral authority to challenge the BJP on such issues. He commended the National Testing Agency for promptly canceling the NEET exam affected by the leak and rescheduling it to prevent disruption to students’ preparations.
Rathore emphasized the importance of swift action in such cases, highlighting how delays, as seen in a previous recruitment exam controversy, can adversely affect candidates’ readiness. He urged BJP workers to educate the public about the party’s principles and expose alleged scams from the Congress era. Rathore claimed that no exam papers have leaked under the current government, contrasting it with the 17 leaks during the Congress regime.
Regarding the NEET paper leak investigation, Rathore assured that strict measures would be taken against those responsible, with the police and Special Operations Group intensively probing the matter. He also hinted at imminent decisions on political appointments and cabinet expansion in Rajasthan, clarifying that these decisions rest with the Chief Minister’s discretion. Rathore also touched on fuel conservation, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to reduce petrol and diesel wastage by promoting shared transportation among leaders to cut unnecessary expenses.
