A celebratory event took place at the Rajasthan BJP headquarters to honor the party’s recent wins in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. State President Madan Rathore, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, ministers, party officials, and numerous workers participated in the festivities. They shared sweets and traditional Bengali treats like “sandesh,” “mishti doi,” and “jhal muri” with great enthusiasm.
Madan Rathore, addressing the party members, highlighted the nationwide excitement generated by these victories. He expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, foreseeing accelerated progress and good governance in West Bengal. Rathore acknowledged the central leadership of the party and praised Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and his team for their efforts in engaging the public during the elections.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, in his speech, commended Prime Minister Modi for aligning with the vision of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Syama Prasad Mookerjee. He emphasized significant decisions like the revocation of Article 370 and anticipated a similar positive transformation in West Bengal. Sharma referenced Swami Vivekananda’s vision of India’s global prominence, asserting that the nation is steadily advancing towards that objective under Modi’s guidance.
Sharma lauded the dedication of party workers in West Bengal and led a pledge emphasizing unity and national dedication, emphasizing the motto “our country, our soil” from Kashmir to Guwahati. He criticized Mamata Banerjee’s administration for allegedly favoring appeasement and corruption, which he claimed had negatively impacted traders, shopkeepers, and the public. Sharma expressed optimism that a “double-engine government” would expedite West Bengal’s development.
Discussing Rajasthan, Sharma noted the state’s strong backing from the Centre and expressed hope for the BJP’s return to power in the 2028 Assembly elections. The event witnessed the presence of various senior leaders, including former state presidents Ashok Parnami and Satish Poonia, MPs Ghanshyam Tiwari and Manju Sharma, as well as ministers, MLAs, and party officials.
