Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted the significant advancements in girls’ education in Rajasthan, attributing the progress to the government’s initiatives aimed at enhancing educational infrastructure and accessibility, especially up to higher education levels. Speaking at the inauguration of a new girls’ college in Rohat, Pali district, established by the Rajeshwar Bhagwan Anjani Mata Kanya Gurukul Sansthan, he stressed the importance of quality education for regional development, particularly for the youth.
Sharma announced plans for a Detailed Project Report (DPR) to address the region’s water needs systematically and within a specified timeframe. He underscored the state government’s commitment to overall development, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, focusing on youth, women, farmers, and laborers. Various projects, including the Ram Jal Setu Link Project and the Dewas Project, are being prioritized to ensure balanced and inclusive regional growth.
The Chief Minister outlined the government’s efforts to provide daytime electricity to farmers in 24 districts, with a goal to extend this facility statewide by 2027. Additionally, he emphasized job creation targets, aiming to generate 10 lakh jobs, with significant progress already made in both the private and government sectors. Sharma also addressed the issue of examination paper leaks, highlighting the current administration’s commitment to preventing such incidents.
Referring to national campaigns like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, and the Swachh Bharat Mission, Sharma reiterated the government’s focus on enhancing women’s dignity and safety. He announced the upcoming Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM-2026) in Jaipur, inviting farmers, scientists, and investors nationwide to participate actively. The Chief Minister also emphasized the state’s efforts to strengthen higher education infrastructure, with the establishment of new colleges and the introduction of various courses to enhance the educational ecosystem.
