Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the state government’s focus on participatory governance by directly engaging with residents of Kadel village in Ajmer district during his morning walk. Following a village meeting the previous night, the Chief Minister walked through the village lanes early the next day, interacting with residents at their homes in a warm and informal setting.
During his visit, the Chief Minister sought blessings from elders, conversed with various community members including women, farmers, youth, and sanitation workers, and gathered feedback on the implementation of state welfare schemes. Residents expressed enthusiasm at the Chief Minister’s close and informal interaction, which included affectionate exchanges with children and discussions on their studies.
The Chief Minister also visited the ancient Lord Sheshnag Temple in the village, offering prayers for the well-being of the state’s people. He engaged with devotees at the temple and discussed local agricultural produce with farmers, encouraging the adoption of innovative farming methods for enhanced productivity and income.
In discussions with villagers, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to rural development and farmers’ welfare. He addressed revenue-related issues, emphasizing the importance of prompt resolution and directed officials to expedite the handling of disputes through special camps. The Chief Minister’s friendly and approachable demeanor during tea sessions with villagers left a positive impact.
Responding to residents’ requests, the Chief Minister announced plans to upgrade the village’s Primary Health Centre to a Community Health Centre and improve transport connectivity. He also instructed officials to facilitate the construction of a boundary wall for the girls’ school, ensuring swift resolution of community concerns. Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat and other officials were also present during the visit.
