Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted the government’s success in preventing paper leaks during exams over the past two-and-a-half years. This achievement has boosted the confidence of job seekers in the state. Sharma emphasized the government’s commitment to fair recruitment and job creation, with 1.78 lakh government jobs and 4.5 lakh private sector jobs provided.
Addressing the Rajasthan Water Conclave in Jaipur, Sharma reiterated the government’s focus on transparent recruitment and employment opportunities for the youth. He praised the state’s efforts in water conservation, irrigation, and public participation to achieve water self-reliance. Sharma also mentioned key water projects like the Ramjal Setu Link Project and the Yamuna Water Agreement.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Rajasthan aims to become a national model for water management and conservation. Sharma highlighted initiatives such as Catch the Rain and Namami Gange. He stressed the importance of water conservation for future generations and sought suggestions for improving water management during the conclave.
Sharma discussed major water projects like the Ramjal Setu Link Project and the Yamuna Water Agreement, which aim to enhance drinking water security and irrigation facilities. He also mentioned initiatives to strengthen the canal network and bring Narmada water to certain regions. Public participation remains a key aspect of the state’s water conservation strategy.
