Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted the pivotal role of youth in shaping the nation’s future. He emphasized the government’s dedication to empowering youth through various initiatives, aiming to support their aspirations and dreams. Addressing a youth dialogue event, Sharma underlined the importance of platforms that enhance understanding of economic policies and foster responsible citizenship.
The Chief Minister also discussed the government’s efforts towards ensuring employment opportunities and fairness. He mentioned the establishment of a Special Investigation Team to address recruitment irregularities, resulting in the arrest of 420 individuals involved in malpractices. Sharma reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating job opportunities, with over 1.25 lakh youth already securing government jobs and 3 lakh positions generated in the private sector.
Furthermore, Sharma pointed out the diverse opportunities available in sectors like solar energy, tourism, agriculture, and dairy in Rajasthan. He informed about the State Skill Policy 2025 and the Rajasthan Youth Policy 2025, focusing on skill development and holistic youth empowerment. Initiatives such as Yuva Saathi Kendras have been set up to offer career guidance and create a supportive environment for the youth.
Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, at the same event, highlighted the government’s efforts, under PM Modi’s leadership, to nurture young leaders across the country. The event, attended by prominent figures including Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari and Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore, aimed to strengthen youth participation for the nation’s development.
