Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma revealed a set of key initiatives to enhance the state’s legal and cyber security framework. These initiatives include introducing AI-based cybercrime analysis systems, setting up a dedicated cyber helpline call center, and establishing Cyber Police Stations in every district by 2030. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing accessible, transparent, and swift justice to all citizens through technological advancements, institutional strengthening, and legal reforms.

Highlighting the escalating challenges posed by cybercrime, CM Sharma mentioned the establishment of Cyber Help Desks in all police stations across Rajasthan. Additionally, plans were announced to create the Rajasthan Cyber Crime Control Centre to effectively prevent and combat cybercrimes, including instances of “digital arrest.” This proposed system aims to utilize AI for cybercrime analysis and enhance cyber response mechanisms throughout the state.

CM Sharma underscored the crucial role of Public Prosecutors in the justice delivery system and their significance in upholding constitutional values. He stressed the importance of continuous training and capacity-building to adapt to evolving legal frameworks, cyber laws, and changing judicial perspectives. Referring to the implementation of three new criminal laws introduced under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, CM Sharma hailed them as a historic initiative to revamp India’s justice system into a citizen-centric, efficient, and justice-oriented framework rooted in Indian values.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the establishment of 42 courts in Rajasthan and ongoing efforts to bolster judicial infrastructure. Notably, legal aid has been extended to over 27,000 individuals, with nearly 4,000 victims receiving compensation totaling Rs 85 crore under the Rajasthan Victim Compensation Scheme. Furthermore, around 10,000 cyber awareness programs have been conducted across the state, benefiting more than 12 lakh citizens through initiatives focused on cyber security awareness and sensitization.

State Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel highlighted the government’s dedication, under CM Bhajan Lal Sharma’s leadership, to ensuring timely and effective justice for all segments of society. The workshop, attended by Advocate General Rajendra Prasad, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal Secretary of the Law Department Raghavendra Kachhwal, and senior officials from the Department of Law and Legal Affairs, aimed to further these objectives.
